photo - athletes Based on which sport is being evaluated, each athlete is required to perform five standardized, sport-specific tests. RAPS Rating assesses and evaluates functional movement and grades you on your score so the trainer and coach have a better idea of an off-season program specific for your needs.

After completing these tests, athletes will receive six scores: an overall RAPS Rating percentile ranking which compares them by sport and position to other athletes and five Hurricane scores which evaluate their performance on each specific test.

Based on both the RAPS Rating and RAPS Hurricane Scores, athletes can see how they "compare" against other athletes across the country in their specific sport(s) and position.

This official assessment gives athletes the unique opportunity to develop a personalized strength and conditioning programs to address any weaknesses and become a top competitor in their field.

photo-recruitment A driving force behind the development of RAPS Rating was to give every athlete, regardless of current skill level, the opportunity to show their talents and be discovered by collegiate coaches in the hope of receiving athletic scholarships and obtain a college education.

College recruiters and coaches look to RAPS Rating to simplify the recruiting process and get a better overall picture of an athlete's abilities.

Upon completion of the official assessments, an athlete can give permission to a RAPS-certified provider to send their scores to prospective recruiters and college coaches for review.
